Stinging Nettle




Nettle is the perfect herb for spring! This plant is loaded with vital vitamins and nutrients such as calcium, iron phosphorus, potassium, silica, vitamins A, C, and D. It helps with seasonal allergies with it's anti-inflammatory properties, as well as supporting histamine reactions to pollen. Nettle is also used to ease arthritis, sprains, and lower back pain.

This plant has also been used to lower high blood pressure. Studies have found Nettle to contain an ingredient that acts similar to insulin, and can help lower high blood sugar levels.

Warning: When foraging Stinging Nettle be sure to wear gloves. Although safe to consume, raw Nettle when touched and eaten can have a sting. Be caution when picking and either dry it or cook it.
